極端乾旱釀災！土耳其「糧倉」出現近700天坑　專家：對當地造成重大威脅

受到極端乾旱與長期地下水超抽影響，土耳其中部重要農業區科尼亞平原近期出現農地塌陷、變成近700個巨大天坑。對此，土耳其災害與緊急事務管理署（AFAD）最新評估指出，這些天坑已對當地農業與居民安全構成嚴重威脅。

根據外媒《AccuWeather》報導，土耳其災害與緊急事務管理署（AFAD）最新統計，目前境內已確定存在的天坑數量多達684個，其中534個位於土耳其最大農業區科尼亞省。科尼亞省的科尼亞平原貢獻全國11%可耕地，但據無人機畫面顯示，原本平坦的農田地貌如今布滿深不見底的巨大坑洞，部分天坑直徑超過30公尺、深度甚至達數十公尺，宛如地表被撕裂。

有專家指出，這些天坑最早於2000年代陸續出現，近年數量明顯暴增，主因與氣候變遷導致的長期極端乾旱氣候，以及過度抽取地下水密切相關。地質研究顯示，為因應甜菜與玉米等高耗水作物的大量灌溉需求，科尼亞盆地長年依賴地下水，導致地下水位在數十年間下降數十公尺，使地下岩層結構逐漸失去支撐，最終引發塌陷。

科尼亞理工大學指出，僅僅在過去一年，卡拉皮納爾地區就新增超過20個大型天坑，部分規模驚人。相較過去數十年僅偶爾出現少數天坑，如今科尼亞地區幾乎每年都會新增數十個塌陷點。該校天坑研究中心統計，截至2021年底，已有約1850處地區出現地層下陷跡象。

除此之外，美國太空總署（NASA）地球觀測站也指出，土耳其正經歷嚴重乾旱，2021年全國水庫蓄水量降至15年來新低。報導中也指出，天坑已直接威脅農地安全，不少農民因耕地塌陷蒙受損失，甚至被迫放棄高風險農田。對此，土耳其政府已加強科尼亞盆地監測，並推動取締非法鑿井，希望減緩地下水流失，避免災情持續擴大。
